Treatments

Fourteen therapies, and a table that tells you which.

Sreehareeyam publishes its own Panchakarma indications. Most clinics do not. Below it is searchable — pick a condition or a dosha and see what the table actually says.

Dosha & condition finder

What is indicated, and how long it takes.

These five are the Sodhana or Panchakarma procedures — supervised eliminative therapies. The conditions listed are the clinic’s own published samples, not a complete list, and nothing here replaces assessment by the vaidya.

Every therapy

All fourteen, and what each one physically involves.

These are descriptions of procedure, not promises of outcome. Which therapy suits a person, at what stage, and for how long, is decided after assessment.

External therapies

Oil, heat and herb applied to the body. Used on their own for pacification, and as the preparatory phase before Panchakarma.

Panchakarma — the five

The eliminative procedures. Each is specific to a dosha, so no patient receives all five.

Before anything begins

The assessment is the treatment decision.

“The said treatments are performed based on the condition and stage of the disease after proper assessment by the vaidya.” That sentence is on the clinic’s own treatments page, and it is the whole logic of the place. In each disease only specific doshas rise. Every procedure is specific to a dosha. So the question is never which therapy sounds right — it is which dosha has risen, and how far.
